Bitergia and its analytics services provide data and metrics about software development teams and their processes for IT Managers that need to understand how the software that matters to them is built. This policy covers the processes and services that Bitergia provides, as well as the company’s data processing and storage systems, according to the current declaration of applicability.

Bitergia helps IT Managers avoid the cost and time it takes to develop custom solutions and to prevent the use of inadequate solutions that fail to answer all their questions. Bitergia delivers professional services and proven, ready-to-use platforms that improve business performance by moving IT management from guesswork into the realm of evidence-based decision-making.

We are committed to the following principles:

  • We maintain a strong commitment to collaborate with the open-source development community, Universities, and research centers. We believe this is the best way to help new professionals in their training and to keep in touch with innovative talent in our community.

  • We provide the results we promise to customers, working efficiently to help them to understand software development through data and metrics.

  • We foster a team of diverse and highly-trained professionals.

We are also committed to the following information security principles:

  • Confidentiality: Only authorized persons can access the code that we develop for our clients and the information they provide us.

  • Integrity: We protect the code we generate against any alteration, and we preserve our systems from unauthorized changes.

  • Availability: We provide real-time access to reports.

These commitments provide the framework for establishing, updating, and reviewing our quality and security objectives, measuring them to the extent possible, taking into account information security requirements, and the results of the assessment and treatment of the risks.

This policy is communicated within the organization and is available to any interested parties. It includes a commitment to compliance with applicable requirements and regulations, and to the continuous improvement of the Quality and Information Security Management System in accordance with UNE-EN-ISO 9001 and UNE-EN-ISO 27001 standards.

Bitergia’s CEO expresses his firm commitment to comply with and enforce this policy in the organization.

Approved by Daniel Izquierdo Cortázar, CEO & co-founder.
